On the topic of flooding:
GOD’S LOVE
Maybe the whole world’s
Hitting a wall,
But is the wall?
What is it made of?
Here it feels like water,
The rain that comes
A blessing of God’s abundance
So full it changes us.
Here we sit
Moving no further
Forced to wait
Held to the still
And in the still
The Angel comes to bless
And to hold
The waiting shows us our truths
What is it
We are running from?
Could it be, can it be
As simple as:-
We are running from God’s love?
That he wants to bestow on us,
That he loves us immeasurably
And we, being like children, can accept and be loved.
GOD’S LOVE
Maybe the whole world’s
Hitting a wall,
But is the wall?
What is it made of?
Here it feels like water,
The rain that comes
A blessing of God’s abundance
So full it changes us.
Here we sit
Moving no further
Forced to wait
Held to the still
And in the still
The Angel comes to bless
And to hold
The waiting shows us our truths
What is it
We are running from?
Could it be, can it be
As simple as:-
We are running from God’s love?
That he wants to bestow on us,
That he loves us immeasurably
And we, being like children, can accept and be loved.
